Situated in the very heart of the delightful village of Middleton by Youlgreave, this traditional cottage is an early 19th Century stone built terraced cottage that looks out across the green and village square. Full of period charm, this property has lots of character with a quaint sitting room boasting a cosy wood-burning stove and a well-equipped fitted kitchen which opens onto a small dining area. With both a front and rear garden, this property has plenty of outdoor space for relaxing, sunbathing and al fresco dining, whilst the beautiful surrounding countryside offers excellent walking.
Accommodation
Electric storage heaters with additional heating from wood burning stove in the sitting room. Electric oven, fridge, washer/dryer, dishwasher, colour TV, stereo/CD player, radio etc. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Garden patio area with garden furniture. Off road parking on the village square in front of the cottage. Sorry no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 1 mile. |

Reviews
Our first visit to the Peak District, the area was lovely, people were really friendly. Plenty of walks direct from the cottage; did not need the car for the first 4 days. Chatsworth House and grounds lovely, also visited Bakewell, Eyam and Derwent Water, and visited Hardwick Hall. Arrived when the village were involved in 'The Well Dressing', although missed the last day!

The location was very good and close to shops, pubs etc. It was relaxing as it was quiet and peaceful. We would certainly return.
